The Menopause Society (formally North American Menopause Society)
The Menopause Society was founded in 1989 as a nonprofit, multidisciplinary organization dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of women during midlife and beyond.
The Society publishes Menopause, a peer‑reviewed scientific journal launched in 1994, and provides clinical guidelines, position statements, educational programs, and certification pathways—including the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) credential held by both founders of Rise.

The Endocrine Society
The Endocrine Society is one of the leading global authorities in hormone science and clinical endocrinology. This Society publishes essential Clinical Practice Guidelines across key areas of endocrine health, including bone metabolism, cardiovascular endocrinology, diabetes and glucose regulation, female reproduction, and obesity.
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)
A well-known and respected organization made up of OB-GYNs, that publishes clinical guidelines on various women’s health concerns, including; perimenopause, menopause, hormone therapy, bone health, women’s cardiovascular risk and midlife gynecology.
International Menopause Society (IMS)
This is a worldwide membership organization, helping to provide us with a global perspective on menopause research and guidelines. They offer mulitple position statements midlife womens health subjects.
International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH)
ISSWSH is a multidisciplinary, academic organization dedicated to advancing the science and clinical care of women’s sexual health. Their mission is to bridge research, patient care, and community education to support a thriving, healthy sexuality for every woman. ISSWSH develops clinical guidelines, supports provider education, and promotes evidence‑based approaches to conditions such as genitourinary syndrome of menopause and other sexual health concerns.
